Honolulu Cookie Company shortbread cookies are Aloha in a cookie. Every bite reminds me of the islands and my three years that I spent there. I believe they are the best cookies in the world! I discovered these cookies while I lived in Hawaii, and now I make sure to stop by Hilton Hawaiian Village to buy and ‘sample’ more cookies anytime I visit Oahu. There is also a physical Honolulu Cookie Company store in Las Vegas – another reason to go to Las Vegas!
The store at Hilton Hawaiian Village Rainbow Bazaar is cozy and small but packed to the brim with cookies, just like their containers. Every minute or so, I would make my way back to the samples and try a different flavor. When I find myself dreaming about these delicious decadences, I order some to be delivered to Austin, Texas. Aside from the mini chocolate chip macadamia nut shortbread cookies, the variety gift tin is great to sample other flavors! There is not a single flavor that I don’t enjoy.
My favorites, besides the minis, are the chocolate covered Kona coffee and Chocolate covered coconut. I have tried many times to duplicate these cookies in my kitchen and have failed! One day I will succeed in replicating these cookies, but that day may be in the distant future, as baking is not my forte.
