Launch Day! Nosh With David – A Food & Travel Blog
Nosh With David Launches!
Welcome to the Launch of Nosh With David – A Food & Travel Blog featuring great recipes, honest restaurant reviews, and fun travel experiences! I’m David, and I’m the primary contributor to this blog. Nosh With David is a reflection of my life and experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today.
Recipes
Over the last few decades, I’ve compiled hundreds of recipes that I have created, tailored, and adapted from my family’s multiple restaurants, my restaurant, and years of trial and error in my home kitchen. Unlike many other food blogs and sites, you won’t find fancy videos, complex instructions, or weird ingredients and odd measurements on Nosh With David. What you will find are simple recipes that you can make easily and modify to fit your taste and diet. My goal is to post at least two recipes a week. I’m not a full-time blogger, so any more than that might become a challenge, and I wouldn’t want to overpromise and underdeliver! My recipes are presented with three important factors in mind:
Simplicity – They can be made with simple ingredients and without specialty equipment or advanced culinary skills.
Taste – They create dishes that taste great and have rave reviews from my friends and family.
Adaptability – They can be adapted to most dietary and taste preferences. Many of my recipes are Paleo and Whole30 compliant.
Restaurant Reviews
I’ve written hundreds of reviews of restaurants all over the United States on Yelp since 2009. However, here on Nosh With David, I’m able to present a slightly different perspective and opinion of my experiences without having to worry about the number of stars I need to give nor if I might get chastised for badly reviewing a high-paying sponsor or advertiser.
The one thing you will find in my restaurant reviews here is that they are honest, albeit brutally honest in some aspects, and empirical with a bit of story-telling tossed in for flavor. You will find a lower quantity of reviews than on my Yelp list of reviews, but the reviews you do find here will be of high quality and only of the restaurants that I enjoyed the most. If someone were to ask me advice on where to eat, I can now confidently say, “check out noshwithdavid.com!” My goal is to post two reviews a month.
Travel
The travel section of Nosh With David is a collection of stories, reviews, and recommendations from my travels. They contain thoughts about hotels, cities, destinations, and pretty much anything that interests me in my travels. My goal is to post at least one travel review a month, but possibly more during higher travel times.
